The 2009-10 BSP has come to an end following the last session on Thursday. On behalf of the BSP Planning Committee, I would like to thank all of you for your strong support and diligent facilitation throughout the year. Please also pass on our deep appreciation to your group members for taking the time to join us and be part of this very rich and meaningful scriptural ministry, through which and through the guidance and abundant blessing of the Holy Spirit everyone of us has grown a little taller in our spiritual stature.

This year we recall with fond memories many wonderful presentations made by the various groups, with noticeable improvement in all areas, particularly in creativity and time control. We also cherish the reflective and thanksgiving prayers that for the first time were conducted by the group members themselves. As we followed Dr. Tim Gray’s lead and journeyed through the Book of Exodus, we also discovered with pleasant surprise and wide-eyed amazement the exotic and astounding treasures hidden underneath the words and syntax of a seemingly straightforward account of Israel’s journey out of Egypt.

It’s unfortunate that near the end we had to conduct two BSP sessions in the CMCC church proper, causing inconvenience to both the participants and the volunteers. Please continue to pray for the CMCC and the volunteers working hard to fix the building problems. God willing, we will be able to do the BSP in the cozy setting of the Don Bosco Hall again come September.

Please accept our apology for the few minutes of confusion near the end of the last session due to some technical difficulties experienced by the scoring team in determining the winner of the presentations. Although it was getting very late and many of you had to work the next day, everyone of you had chosen to put up with us and stay till the end. Your love and forbearance did not go unnoticed. For that we are very, very thankful.

Due to the confusion, we were unable to take a group picture. Attached is a picture taken for the 5-year award winners. If you have taken your own pictures, please share them with us too.

I’ve received the orders of about 40 people wanting to buy next year’s reference book. I will give everyone until July 15 to place your order if you haven’t done so. Remember, the price on the Internet is about $25 with taxes; we are making it available to you at a subsidized price of $15 only. You can contact me directly by email if you need the book. Don’t forget to let me know your name and which group you belong to.

Group Facilitators: Kindly help us communicate with your group members by forwarding this email to them. We will call a BSP facilitators’ meeting sometime in this summer. We welcome your input and suggestions so that the BSP can get better and better.

Last but not the least, I wish to thank all BSP volunteers, facilitators, and committee members, whose diligent work and generous contribution of time, efforts, and talents have made it possible not only for the BSP participants to benefit from our scriptural studies, but also for those who rely on our web site for their spiritual enrichment.
